New federal directives expand health benefits afforded to employees.
New federal directives require employers to make significant changes to employee benefits and paid leave. Companies will face increased scrutiny from regulators and employees to offer compliant health benefits. Some of the changes stemming from federal directives go as far to change how health savings accounts and flexible spending account are to be used. Among many changes, the CARES Act and FFCRA has greatly expanded access to paid leave.
